Little Things

At work I am required by policy to do a lot of little things that seem very stupid and insignificant to me. It frustrates me when I feel like I am wasting time doing these little things when I could be doing other, more important, stuff. I wish I could just forget about the long checklist of things but I know it would come back to haunt me later. I guess this is a good life lesson. I probably put to much focus on the "big things" in life and often disregard the "small things" which are very important and if left undone can cause tremendous difficulty and hardship. I will continue to try and do the little things on a more consistent basis and with a more upbeat attitude.

I think you are wise in your conclusion! It makes me think of the scripture, "...by small and simple things are great things brought to pass." A mother's life is pretty much doing small things again and again and again. But those small things are so important!

Adam, I share your frustrations! But you're right that if you do the little things life runs a lot smoother.

My life is chuck full of little things. It's paying off though. What do you do again?
