Little Things

At work I am required by policy to do a lot of little things that seem very stupid and insignificant to me. It frustrates me when I feel like I am wasting time doing these little things when I could be doing other, more important, stuff. I wish I could just forget about the long checklist of things but I know it would come back to haunt me later. I guess this is a good life lesson. I probably put to much focus on the "big things" in life and often disregard the "small things" which are very important and if left undone can cause tremendous difficulty and hardship. I will continue to try and do the little things on a more consistent basis and with a more upbeat attitude.

Portland Trip

I am a little bit bumbed these days because Jessie is gone for the next few months on a semester abroad trip to Hawaii. Before she left I was lucky enough to have her go with me on a quick trip to Portland to see my parents and have a little get away. We had a fabulous time and hopefully the fun there will help me survive the next weeks while she is accross the ocean. Here is some pictures of our fun.
